One of the newer little gadgets that allow you to store large amounts of files that are also large in size individually is a flash drive, or also commonly referred to as a USB drive because of the ability to be plugged into a USB port within a laptop or desktop to save files onto the flash drive. Unfortunately though, as with other drives, the flash drive is not excused when it comes to being vulnerable to damage.
Many ways that the flash drive or USB drive can get a virus or be damaged is the same way that a hard drive can catch a virus or get damaged, by storing the files onto the disk itself, or by having the hardware get damaged through many ways. In this case, it is best to first know why this was caused, see if this is something that you can do to resolve this or not.
